United Way of West Florida (UWWF) Mini Grants are available to provide funding to positively impact an organization and the community it serves through Capacity Building. Capacity Building is an investment into a nonprofit's effectiveness and future sustainability.
Funding options, relating to capacity building, available, but not limited to, through the UWWF Mini Grant include:
- Professional development/training fees (i.e., how to collect data, diversity, Board training)
- Accounting services
- Consulting fees
- Organizational expenses (except salaries)
The maximum funding available is up to $5,000 per nonprofit.
Funds can NOT be used for:
- salaries,
- reimbursements,
- matching funds,
- capital campaigns,
- endowments,
- lobbying,
- one time program project, or
- event planning/volunteer appreciation
Mini grants will NOT be awarded to 2024-2025 United Way of West Florida Community Investment Grant-funded agencies. Visit uwwf.org/funded-partners to learn more.
