United Way 2-1-1
If your family were on the verge of homelessness and could not pay the rent or mortgage what resources would you seek and how would you find them? If your elderly neighbor needed a wheelchair or a ramp built, where would you go to find her help? United Way 2-1-1 (formerly First Call for Help) is a resource and referral service that provides one-stop referral information to help you when you need it most. 2-1-1 maintains up to date information on emergency food and shelter, services for families and senior citizens, health care, child care, services for people with disabilities, counseling and mental health services, and more.
To reach 2-1-1, just dial 2-1-1 from any cell phone or land line (Escambia County only). Help is available 24 hours per day. You can also search the 2-1-1 database by clicking on our logo.
If you would like more information about 2-1-1 or would like to become a volunteer, call Amanda Crabtree at 444-7111 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
