Campaign Kick-Off
United Way's 2010-11 Campaign Kick-Off Party will include children’s activities, games, refreshments and a brief program featuring stories of several individuals who have been served by United Way and its partners. Musical entertainment will be provided by The Resistors, the Gulf Power band.
The 2010-11 Campaign theme is “Resolve, Persevere, Overcome.” Together, united, we will overcome the impact of the BP oil disaster and help increase our community’s resiliency. A successful 2010-11 United Way Community Campaign is an important strategy to help our community move toward a brighter future. The Campaign goal is $2.37 million, a 2.5 percent increase over 2009-10.
