United Way's philosophy on change is collective action through building collaborations with agencies, government, businesses, organizations and the community. Through these collaborations, we are committed to addressing underlying causes that bring measurable outcomes and create change. Our goal is to invest in what we know will work versus what we hope will work.
2008-09 Funded Programs
In 2008-2009, United Way will provide funding to 42 programs at 29 external health and human service agencies in Escambia County.

More than 220 businesses and organizations in Escambia County hold United Way campaigns at their offices.
