Loaned Executives are an extension of the United Way staff during campaign fundraising season. They are volunteers that help tell the story of United Way and work with businesses to execute workplace fundraising efforts that raise millions for Escambia County health and human service programs.
"Without the involvement and commitment of our Loaned Executives we would not be able to run an efficient, effective community campaign that provides funding to more than 40 health and human service programs each year,” said Marina Holley, Campaign Director. “Because of their involvement, thousands of people receive assistance that helps improve their lives and makes our community a better place.”
Carol Thomas, circulation sales and marketing manager for the Pensacola News Journal, has served as a Loaned Executive for a number of years.
“I am fortunate to work for a company that is so supportive of United Way, and as a result, I get to have the privilege to go to other businesses and assist with their United Way campaigns," Thomas has said of the program. "This is my opportunity to educate people, face to face, about United Way’s services that enhance our community and our lives.”
