WHO WE ARE

United Way of Escambia County unites our community and leverages resources to improve lives.

In 2016, 24% of Escambia County students did not graduate high school on time. We work to close gaps like this by setting goals that produce measurable outcomes across the education spectrum.

Nearly 60% of Escambia County’s population suffers from obesity-related health problems. We work to address problems like this by setting goals that improve the quality of life for all citizens.

As of 2015, 38% of Escambia County homes were Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed (ALICE). We work to address hardships like this by setting goals that help move citizens past the cycle of poverty.

Volunteerism is at the heart of who we are. We connect individuals and groups with various service opportunities at local non-profit agencies and schools to better our community.
